Rose Brents

For over 30 years, Rose Brents has been both developer and glue of the many communities in which she thrived, from the mountains and coasts of California to the cities of China.

As the mother of five, Rose knows what it takes to feed and lead a small army. And she understands the psychology involved in inspiring and retaining team unity.

Having grown up in the Philippines, and speaking two Asian languages besides her native English, she has a superpower enabling her to reach across cultures and create community where it never existed before.

As president of Phantastes Films and its funding branch, the Guild, Rose leads our community to ensure that everyone from our investor partners to our line producers, and from our realtors to our tenants together in harmony. She is also there to listen to and support team members who need her gentle but strong encouragement.

Rose is fluent in Tagalog and Mandarin Chinese and Tagalog from growing up in the Philippines and raising her children in China with her husband. She continues to enjoy Hallmark movies and shows, great literature, paddle-boarding, and hiking with her husband and five children in the Lake Tahoe Basin.
