Belle Avery is an award-winning producer who has worked in many facets of the entertainment industry on a global level for more than 30 years.
Belle has consulted with leading global financial institutions and companies, including Vencom Systems in London, Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, Capitol Group, IMAX, Maurebeni of Japan as well as private banks, including Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse as well as private families creating film funds over $1.5B for Hollywood A-list films. Belle’s expertise is in aligning lucrative partnerships and identifying, purchasing, developing, producing, and financing projects that work on a global scale.
Avery developed and produced The MEG, which she optioned from author Steve Alten and then strategically developed it as a co-production with China/Gravity Pictures/CMC--putting together the financing and distribution for the project -- before taking it to Warner Bros. and negotiating a worldwide distribution deal (Ex-China). The MEG was the blockbuster hit of 2018 summer and is the most successful US/China co-production, bringing in global revenues of over $530m at the box office. Belle secured Wu Jing (China's biggest action star ) to co-star with Jason Statham in Meg 2: The Trench with WB/CMC/Apelles globally released summer 2023.
